31-years-old Woman Arrested For Allegedly Pouring Hot Water On Her Maid In Douala

Reports from Douala, Economic capital of Cameroon say, a woman by Christaina, 31-years-old has been arrested by the Forces of Law and Order for allegedly pouring hot water on her maid when the maid was sleeping. Sources from the Bonaberi neighborhood in Douala where the incident took place say, the 13- years- old girl by name Beauty who came to that house and was never given a room and a bed to sleep on was always sleeping but on the floor, sources have confirmed. That fateful Wednesday July 3rd 2019, places were too cold that the little girl could not sleep on the floor as the case has always been and so she decided to make use of the couch. Little did she know her decision to make use of the couch was going to land her into serious trouble with her mistress. Christiana,her mistress is said to have poured hot water on her body while she was sleeping and as if that wasn’t enough, she used a belt to flog her on the spot where she poured the hot water until it peeled off. Beauty’s condition was only discovered by her school teacher who realized she was not okay and decided to find out from her what was going on. After getting the story, the teacher reported the matter to the Forces of Law and Order leading to the arrest of Christiana. We also gathered from sources that, ever since Beauty got into that house, she has never known peace as all she has known is torture and some of the worst pain a child can ever go through. “Beauty could only have enough to eat thanks to neighbor who knew what she was going through” a neighbor told our sources in Douala. “She was not even having a place to dress up as all her things were kept under the staircase from where she dresses up each time she takes her bath or needs a change of dress”.Another sources told DRAY INFO. Christiana is under Police detention and many are praying the Cameroon judicial system to ensure that justice is done.

  Late Dr Bongka Vivian  By Raymond Dingana Bongka Vivian, after a courageous battle for her life, has taken her last breath. She joined the heavenly choir on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Douala. Bongka Vivian was the Head of the Department (HOD) of Bilingual Letters at the Higher Teachers Training College (HTTC) of the University of Bamenda. She was a victim of an acid attack perpetrated by her husband. Her last journey on planet earth began on Saturday, October 12, 2024, when her husband, Ebai Elias, poured acid on her at the Alahlieh neighborhood in Nkwen, Bamenda III council area before taking his own life by drinking some of it, and died on the spot.
