Separatist’s Fighters Abduct Fru Ndi Again!! -Gives Fresh Ultimatum, Withdraw All Your Senators And Parliamentarians Within 24hrs
Ni John Fru Ndi, National Chairman of the Social Democratic Front ,SDF says, he has been given 24hrs by those who abducted him to withdraw his parliamentarians from Cameroon’s both houses of parliament. Ni John Fru Ndi was speaking to the press at his Ntarinkon residence Sunday June 30TH, 2019 after regaining his freedom from the hands of his abductors.
"They said we want you to declare on our cameras now that you will get your people out or parliament, out of senate and out of councils in the next 24hours.I said sir, you can hold me at gun point and force me to make such statements, you cannot do it, sorry, I will not do it because you have to tell me why, they say no, they are disturbing our course, I say why is it only the SDF parliamentarians, they said those are parliamentarians we have faith and confidence in, when they come out, we will know what to do with the rest". He narrated.
Ni John Fru Ndi also told the press and those who came to sympathize with him that, he resisted the 24hours deadline saying what they were asking him to do could not be done in 24hours adding that he has to travel to Yaoundé to have a talk with his parliamentarians and senators before they can decide."I will go to Yaoundé, meet my parliamentarians, senators and the mayors, we sit down and discuss, and look at the best way of doing it. I know that the SDF parliamentarians and senators have done everything to table the Anglophone issues on the floor of parliament to no avail. The senators in the first senate who were all francophone struggled to table it to no avail. On the second senate, they have all been fighting to get it on the agenda that it should be discussed all to no avail. We have our own approach which I explained to them off camera and that if they think that the SDF senators and parliamentarians should get out of Cameroon’s both houses of parliament, I want to go to Yaoundé and discuss with them but not in the 24hours they have given me because that is not the democracy we ushered in. When I go to Yaoundé and discuss with my parliamentarians, I will come back to you" said Fru Ndi. "They said yes but you have never been coming to us, you have never visited us and I said it’s because you have never invited me. Others have come to me, others have invited me, I have talked to them, they have sent their leaders, I have spoken to them but when you have to come but with a gun, you dragged me down like a pig, in my own person in this country, it’s very unfortunate, but I’m praying that God should forgive those who dragged me through my own compound in the presence of my children shooting my bodyguard in my parlour".

CAPTURE AND TREATMENT IN CAPTIVITY
Ni John Fru Ndi frowned at what he says was the way he was treated. "After taking my medicine, I decided to lie down, I was ten minutes in my rest when I heard guns firing in my compound and even in the parlour, I was so taken aback that I ran out with a T-shirt on and a trouser to find out what was happening that they were shooting guns even in my own parlor, as I opened the door and engaged the corridor, I saw the young man with heavy muscles who asked me to come. He grabbed me on my chest and I said please I was just from the hospital, can you let me know what is happening, he dragged me on the floor of my parlor, dragged me through the corridor, through the yard right into their car outside. They dragged me like a pig; I was nothing less than a pig,and when they put me into their car and were about going, they knocked me with their gun about five times, I said please, you cannot knock me like that with your gun, he still knocked, I said you are an idiot to be knocking me like that, they gave me two blows on my stomach and say look how ye belle big, I said that’s a healthy stomach, I should not have a hungry looking stomach like aids patients like you. He said ,yes because we are dying in the bush, I said you are dying in the bush but the things are not going rightly the way we thought they will go, he said it’s because of black legs like you, I said I am black leg, you are a dark leg". Ni John Fru Ndi also said they dragged him out of the car, through some muddy places, no shoes on his feet and took him to what they called a cell and sat him there on a hard bamboo bench and that is where he slept for about two days. He said he never ate, and he never took his medicines.
It should be noted that this is the second time Ni John Fru Ndi is falling in the hands of abductors. In the month of April, he was abducted around sop in Jakiri on his way to bury the late Hon. Banadzem, whom he called his son. On Friday June 28th, Ni John Fru Ndi fell again in the hands of yet another group of abductors making it the second in just about two months.
