Ndop: Mourners Demand Justice At Burial Of Murdered Three.

Reports from Ndop, Ngoketunjia Division of the North West Region of Cameroon say, angry mourners who turned out for the burial  of three members of the same family shoot and killed in Ndop last August have challenged North West Administration, to ensure that the victims get Justice. This was last Wednesday September 11, 2019 during the burial  of Emmanuella, who was pregnant at the time of her death, her sister and baby Abigail,a toddler, shot and killed last August 25^th by those eye witnesses say were heavily armed men in military attires.

According to this mourner who voted to go by the name Mohammed, justice is what they need: “If the North West Administration and the Judiciary are honest to themselves and if Cameroon is truly a state of Law, the killers of the three Cameroonians should be arrested and prosecuted. If nothing is done, it would appear they enjoy seeing innocent women and children being killed. The families and the victims including those of us who came to mourn with them need Justice”.

Pa Simon is a retired soldier. He told  DrayInfos that, he was one of those who fought back to defeat the coup leaders in 1984. He says he has never seen something like this before: “ In my many years as a Cameroon soldier in the Cameroon army, I have never seen something like this, that women and children are gunned down and no one says anything? Who ever told these boys that war is fought like this? No doubt they have not been able to make any significant gains despite having the best of war equipments. Who will support them, how will they gather intelligence? The perpetrators of this wicked act should be brought to book so that the family can be served Justice”.

It should be noted that, last Sunday August 25^th, 2019,Emmanuella[pregnant],her sister and baby Abigail just about six-month-old were on their way to the Ndop market when they were gunned down. The commercial bike riders only narrowly escaped. Many have suffered similar cases in the North West Region but getting justice is a far fetch dream.
