[1] ➤    Tension was the order of the day Thursday June 11, 2020 at the Regional Hospital Mortuary in Bamenda when the mortuary attendant prevented a family head from preserving the remains of his late wife who died at the Big Mbingo hospital. Shouting at the top of his voice, the man said his wife died at the Big Mbingo hospital but the mortuary attendants refused collecting the corps saying she died of Covid-19 without even taking a look at the medical reports from Mbingo. He also said, since they have rejected the corps, he was taking it to his native Pinyin for a befitting burial.

[2]➤The Bamenda-Mamfe road have remained blocked for days now. the roads were blocked on the night of Sunday breaking Monday, June 08,2020 by pro independence fighters. It is still not clear why the roads were blocked. Travelers have been stranded for days now with the sick not being able to be taken to the hospital because of the road blocks. Economic activities have also been greatly affected as the Bali, Guzang, Widikum and other markets have not been opened because traders and buyers from other areas have not been able to make it to these villages hosting the markets.

[3]  ➤ Some students of the University of Bamenda have lashed out at security forces on campus for what they say is gross violation of their rights by the 'khaki'boys. Talking to DrayInfos, the students say, they have been molested by the soldiers for not wearing the face mask. some say, the soldiers who barely understand English are not ready to listen given that, after trekking for long distances, it is very difficult to still have the mask on because of difficulty in breathing. They say the university authorities have been mute, a clear indication that, they are in support of what they soldiers are doing to them. They have also asked if the school campus has been transformed into a military barrack.

[4] ➤ Some United Nations officials were briefly held by pro independence fighters in Ngoketunjia on their way back to Bamenda from Ndop. According to a video that has gone viral on the social media, a voice in the video could be heard saying''we are freedom fighters fighting for our freedom.i hope you people know what have been going on in this place? the truth is that, they are killing us seriously. As you are passing here, we are not disturbing you people, you have to go and say the truth''. The voice said.

Still in Ndop, reports reaching DrayInfos say,  authorities in Ndop have removed the seals that were pasted on the shops of some traders at the Ndop market preventing them from opening their shops for weeks now. the sealing of the shops according to some traders at the Ndop market triggered the blocking of the Ndop stretch of road  by Non State Armed Groups. The blocking of the roads has brought untold suffering on the population of Ndop and beyond. Many are now hoping that, the roads will also be reopened for circulation to commence after weeks of no circulation. Many have been forced to trek from Ndop to Bambili where they could board vehicles to Bamenda.

[5] ➤ Electricity users in some neighborhoods in  Bamenda have breathe a sigh of relief following the reinstatement of electricity to their households. These households had gone without electricity for days with no one taking the pain to tell them what went wrong. It should be noted that, for months now, electricity supply in Bamenda has been epileptic with rationing the order of the day. It is still not clear what has gone wrong with electricity supply in the NWR since no one has taken the pain to explain things to the people.

[6] ➤The obligatory wearing of face mask has become a lucrative business that seems to have attracted many into it  with police officers not left out. Some days ago around the mile 3 neighborhood in Nkwen, Bamenda, a lady said she bought a face mask from the police officers who did not want to let her go because she used but a handkerchief to cover her nose and mouth. She did not tell us how much she paid for the face mask. ''These days in Bamenda, it is better to go out without an ID card than a face mask'', a Bamenda based town ship taxi driver told DrayInfos.

[7]➤  Travelers returning to the  North West Region  were trapped at Babadjou Thursday June 11, 2020 because of the poor state of roads. DrayInfos gathered that, the deviation created by the company working on the road became impassable as a result of heavy down pour.Travelers finally got to Bamenda not when they would have loved to. The roads in the town of Bamenda itself are more of dead traps with pot holes doted almost everywhere in the town.
