Lives Lost As Gun Men Open Fire On A Drinking Spot In Bamenda
Shock and consternation has gripped the population of mile 90 Nsongwa following the shooting to death of about five persons in a drinking spot by armed med.Many others were wounded in the incident that happened at about 10pm on Sunday breaking Monday. The wounded are receiving treatments in health facilities around town.

Soldiers Mistakenly Killed One OF Theirs In Bamenda
The body of a uniform officer by name Limbami Meende Georges has been transfered to the Regional Hospital Mortuary in Bamenda after his body was found in corn farm in Nkwen Bamenda. Though the circumastances sorrounding his death remain unclear, sources say, armed men stormed a drinking spot in that area and the gendarmes were alerted after hearing gunshot. As they stormed the area, they opened fire when the armed men had left the area. It it not clear whether he was hit by a friendly fire or killed by the armed men in civilian attires.
Kidnapped Hotel Manager Released Under Unclear Circumstances
The hotel manager kidnapped last Friday April 16,2021 by gun men has regained his freedom. He was forcefully taken away at his job site at the new road neighborhood in Bamenda along side a client who had come there to lodge. Kidnappings for ransom has seena surge in Bamenda of late.The proprietor of Jet Set and Banapriso drinking spots kidnapped some days back is yet to be set free.
Many Are Mourning The Passing Of Councilor Of The Bamenda III
Mourners have been garthering at the Ndamukong residence of late Councillor George Ambe of the Bamenda III Constituency who slumped during the Management and Administrative Account session and died later in a hospital, Friday April 16.He was the oldest councillor in Mezam.

Mbengwi: Population Called To Join Rehabiltation Works On Bridges Destroyed By Separatists
Officials of the Mbengwi council have invited the population to turn out in their numbers and take part in the rehabilitation of the destroyed bridges in Zem and Mbemi come Tuesday 20th. Carpenters are expected to come out in their numbers with their nail bars and other tools. The bridges were destroyed by a suspected leader of an armed group fighting to create a country they call 'Ambazonia'. He was killed by soldiers Thursday breaking Friday 16 April 2021.

Tubah: Work To Bring Back Peace-Mayor Tanjong Tells Population
The Mayor of Tubah Council, Tanjong Martin has invited the population of his Municipality to do all in their powers to cause the return of peace. He was speaking during the council's Management and Administrative Account session last Friday April 16,2021. During the session, the Divisional Officer for Tubah, Alim Garga called on the population to protect the contractors carrying out development projects in the area.
