Outstanding Students Of P.S.S.To Reap From Hardwork

During the handing over ceremony of the renovated girl's dormitory that caught fire at the campus of Presbyterian Secondary School,P.S.S. Mankon hosting PSS Bafut in the month of January, 2021, the Mayor of Bafut, Ngwakongoh Lawrence and the MP for Bafut -Tubah constituency,Agho Oliver promised scholarships to outstanding students.
"The first 10 students of form five and upper sixth will be granted scholarships by the council.Upper sixth students will be granted schoolarships to study for the first three years in the university. Form five students will study on schoolarship in high school and the first year in the university,"Agho Oliver,MP for Bafut Tubah said.

The Mayor also said, though he is talking as the Mayor of Bafut, it doesn't mean only students of PSS Bafut will benefit.
He added that, if P.S.S. Mankon has been able to accommodate her sister collage, P.S.S. Bafut, then both of them should and will benefit.

Speaking on behalf of the two schools, April 15, 2021, the principal of P.S.S. Mankon,Mr. Mbaku Henry encouraged the students to work hard if they dream of winning the scholarships.
He also thanked the August guestfor coming to their aid when they were in need. He said they were the first to come after the dormitories when it was torched, a clear indication that, they are together.

Coming back again to hand over the rehabilitated girl's dormitories shows that when it comes to the education of the children,they are together he added.
It should be noted that, the girl's dormitories were ravaged by wild flames on the nights of Friday and Saturday,22 and 23 of January 2021.
Investigations were opened ascertain the circumstances that let to the fire outbreak, but the results are yet to be made public.
