ANTIC Strengthens Capacities Of Teachers To Guard Against Cybercrime

By Raymond Dingana The National Agency for Information and Communication Technology known in its French accronym as ANTIC has stepped in to build a solid wall against cybercriminality especially in the school melliue in the North West Region of Cameroon. This is through a three-day-workshop currently taking place in Bamenda, chief town of the Region to up the capacities of Lecturers and Teachers of Information and Communication Technology ICT on Cybersecurity and the fight against cybercrime in both the secondary and higher institutions of learning. This is coming after it was discovered that most teachers lack basic knowledge on cyber security while some have been victims. By Raymond Dingana Gun men suspected to be separatist fighters have abducted the Congregational  Chairlady for Presbyterian Church Ntamulung, Elder Nana Anastasia who doubles as the Mezam Presbytery Chairperson, Sunday October 24th,2021. The act has been described by many as spitting on the face of God. We garthered on the ground that the armed men came just when the induction service was over and refreshments were taking place at the PC Ntamulung  Multipurpose Hall. Killing Of Child In Buea: Government Calls For Calm, Vows To Punish Culprits

By Raymond Dingana The government of Cameroon has called for calm after an angry mob in Buea took to the streets denouncing the killing of five-year-old Caro Ndialle by a uniform officer. Though the events leading to the incident are not clear, there is a school of thought that said the driver of the car was trying to park her car when the officer opened fire on the Molyko -Bwitingi stretch of road behind the Molyko Omnisport Stadium. According to the governor of the South West Region, Okalai Bilai, the uniform officer opened fire when the lady driving the car refused to stop when she was asked to. Recently, the Mayor of the Bamenda III Council Fonguh Cletus Tanue working in collaboration with some water engineers from Germany successfully installed new equipment at the water treatment unit in Nkwen.
