FEHACU 2021: Mayor Fongu Takes Festival To Church, Says Not Only For Nkwen, Ndzah Dinezens

The Mayor of the Bamenda III Council has invited everyone in his municipality to be part of the upcoming festival of heritage arts and cultures (FEHACU).

Mayor Fongu Cletus Tanwe was speaking on Sunday 7 November 2021 at the St Micheal's Catholic Parish Church Futru Nkwen during a thanksgiving and sensitisation Mass.

According to the municipal leader, the Bamenda III festival which shall run from November 26 to 28 2021 will permit those living in the municipality to celebrate their respective cultures.

While reaffirming that registration for participation is ongoing and free, the Mayor disclosed that his council is fully mobilised to offer quality prices to participants during the festival which he says is expected to be the biggest in the North West Region never seen before.





Cultural Desplay By Boyo Community

Mayor Fongu's visit to St Micheal's Parish Futru coincided with the thanksgiving of the Boyo Community in the area which permitted for a rare display of culture in the Church house.

Muma Azehfor Steering committee member who also doubles as second adviser to the Fon of Nkwen corroborated the Mayor and announced a pre-selection of dance groups and Miss FEHACU 2021 expected to take place on Wednesday 10 November 2021, at the Ntoh Nfo'o Menkwen esplanade.
