KCHS Anyajua Ex-Students Donate To Alma Mater
By Raymond Dingana
The students of Kom Comprehensive Collage, KCHS Anyajua have been opened to the world of information and communication technology (ICT).
This is thanks to a donation of brand new computers by the Ex Students of Kom Comprehensive High School, EXSTUKA recently.
The computers were received on behalf of the Yong's Education Establishment Management Board by Don Rogers and handed over to the principle of the school.
Don Rogers appreciated the gesture and prayed that the source of the gift should never go run dry.
The computers will serve as a booster especially as the school could not opened its doors for the past 4years. These machines will trigger the spirit of hard work in them because the institution has never had a single computer before. There is a standby generator to ensure electricity is not an issue, Don Rogers said.
While appreciating the donation and thanking the donors on behalf of the students, the principal of KCHS Anyajua said the coming of the machines will enable many of his students to fall in love with computer studies.
The president of EXSTUKA, Ngoh Ben used the event to invite other ex students of KCHS Anyajua to join the association and contribute in giving back to the community.
Diom Gilbert is a civil engineer and a member of the association. He said,
KCHS Anyajua gave us an opportunity to be educated especially those of us whose parents could not afford to send us to town to study. Pa Yong of blessed memory gave us an opportunity to be educated. We were paying fees with plantain, beans, maize among others.
Worthy of note is the fact that the Ex Students of Kom Comprehensive High School, KCHS Anyajua EXSTUKA is just one year old now with many projects in the pipeline.
