Bamenda: Heartbreaking Moments As Accident Victim Receives Last Respects

Maiva where are you, Maiva where are you were some of the words that could be heard from the friends and class mates of the 12-year-old girl killed in the accident at New Road in Bamenda as they cried their hearts out.

Not even the bike riders, neighbors and passersby who were at the scene could hold back the tears that filled their eyes. This was when Maiva Jaju's body in a couffin with the colors of the grassfield arrive mile Ndamukong in Bamenda.
We brought her here because she was one of those helping her mother in their grilled fish business. I saw her few days ago, little did I know this day was never going to meet her, Ndifor Emile said as he wept, which kind badluck this, which kind badluck this? he lamented as he is escorted to a chair.
Sadness filled the air as many watched in disbelief as Maiva's remains were driven away to be interred in her native Ndu, Donga Mantung Division, Northwest Region of Cameoon.

Maiva, Victim Of Friday's Fatal Road Accident In Bamenda

Maiva Jaju who just 12 years old is never coming back again, she will never be seen by her friends and classmates ever again.

This is because she was one of those killed in a fatal road accident at New Road on Friday May 13,2022 when a truck suffered a technical problem and hit them on a motor bike.


Maiva In Her Casket About To Be Taken Home For Burial

She was a hard-working little girl who would return from school and without rest, she would go and prepare their business site and would only retire home to rest when her mum comes and take over.
Maiva Jaju, born on the 17 of February 2010 is gone and gone for good.

  Late Dr Bongka Vivian  By Raymond Dingana Bongka Vivian, after a courageous battle for her life, has taken her last breath. She joined the heavenly choir on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Douala. Bongka Vivian was the Head of the Department (HOD) of Bilingual Letters at the Higher Teachers Training College (HTTC) of the University of Bamenda. She was a victim of an acid attack perpetrated by her husband. Her last journey on planet earth began on Saturday, October 12, 2024, when her husband, Ebai Elias, poured acid on her at the Alahlieh neighborhood in Nkwen, Bamenda III council area before taking his own life by drinking some of it, and died on the spot.
