Don't collect the items and keep them at home. Make sure you resume school come September 5th,
he said and added that,
parents should encourage their children go to school. Education is all what a child needs to be a better person tomorrow.
Also present at the event was the Divisional Officer (D.O) for Bamenda II, Nicolas Nkongho Manchang who explained that,
This activity has added to our campaign to encourage back to school in Bamenda II. The Sub Division is hosting a huge number of internally displaced children, so i think the choice of Bamenda II wasn't a mistake.
The D.O also used the opportunity to invite other persons of good will to come to the aid of the children whom he said wish to be in school but lack the means.

He furthered that ASSOPEN is out to promote entrepreneurship and that if the kids don't go to school, their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs will end in a fiasco.

With back to school just around the corner, with life not being fair to a lot of households in Bamenda, initiatives that will support pupils and students get education in a condusive environment will surely be welcomed by the communities.
