Militants of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement, CPDM in the North West Region of Cameroon say they will not waste their votes on the opposition Social Democratic Front SDF Party because it sells what doesn't exist in the market.
Speaking to Drayinfos.com, recently, they said they are ready to give the CPDM Militants To Vote Reality, Say SDF "Sells What's Doesn't Exist." CPDM party a hundred percent vote come 12 March 2023.
"We were told that our great national party sells reality while the opposition Social Democratic Front markets illusion. They are our friends but this is politics,"said a councillor from Bamenda II who voted for anonymity.
For days now, the CPDM party has been strategizing on how to cause a political earthquake in the region as efforts to send SDF Senators packing from the Upper House of parliament intensify.

The party is bent on cementing its presence in the region by grabbing all seven senatorial seats.
During the CPDM campaign launched on Saturday 25 February 2023 at the Bamenda Congress Hall, the head of the CPDM campaign team to the North West Region, former Prime Minister Philemon Yang invited party militants to keep aside their difference and respect party discipline for the party's sake.
"We must respect CPDM's internal rules of discipline. We, militants of the CPDM must find common grounds and bury our disagreements in order to elect our only Senators.
"Our party discipline has great guidelines that will make us succeed every time we vote for our CPDM candidates during different elections,"Yang said.
On how to achieve victory come March 12 2023, Yang said,
First of all, respect all the electoral laws in our country. Secondly, respect the guidelines, prescriptions and choices of the CPDM. Thirdly, avoid any form of provocation that could embarrass our great party. Fourthly, be optimistic and determined during the campaign and the elections itself on the 12th of March. Last but not the least, act peacefully wherever you find yourself."
Political pondits have indicated that it will take the grace of God and other forces put together for the Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, CPDM to be beaten in the North West Region come March 12.
This they say is because the party has 31 municipal councils out of the 32 councils in the region. The North West Regional Council with 90 members is also under the CPDM while the party's main challenger, the Social Democratic Front,SDF has just one municipal under its leadership.
