The 13 low cost houses when completed will change the lives of the people many of whom have been displaced by the Anglophone Crisis. We are so greatful that Bamenda II was selected amongst the many that were earmarked,
Mayor Chenwi said.

Group Picture Of Stakeholders |
I invite all those involved with the implementation of this important project to fully and sincerely play their necessary role and work in close synergy so as to achieve the expected results. We must leave aside the deep division of personal believes, interests and conviction to take up this challenge and ensure that this project is carried out accordingly inline with the HIMO approaches,
said the SDO at the foundation stone laying.
The HIMO approach requires the use of raw material and local labour in the implementation of projects, the HIMO project coordinator in MINEPAT who was present at the ceremony said.
Labour Based Approach also known as HIMO means we use local material and labour to build our houses and roads and the advantages are enormous. The houses will be very good and the project is expected to create 185 direct jobs and young persons will be trained. When we employ the HIMO approach, cost will also drop,
explained Mr.Kouatcho who is HIMO project coordinator in MINEPAT.
