“We are only begging that Ni john Fru Ndi be buried just the way children should bury their parents. He was not only the chairman of the SDF, he was more like a father to all of us. It is true he had his own political ideas dissimilar to separatists ,nonetheless, it is all for the good of Anglophones. He was never against Anglophones but had a different idea on how to give them what they truly merit,”

John Ade, militant of the party.
Mama
Mary as she opted to be addressed because of the security challenges rocking
lives in the region, there is just no need trying to create bad news around
chairman Fru Ndi,
“We should not be known for bad things. Any wrong thing during and after the burial of our chairman will only prove to the world how we hate our own, how we consume poison and expect others to die. We should show love even if it’s the last thing we do. No one is fighting with anyone, we just wish that we bury our father without any issues and with the supports of our brothers and sisters who are angry with the central government, it can happen,”
