In a display of confidence and a quest for steady growth, members of the Sasse Old Boys Cooperative Credit Union Limited (SOBACCUL) have unanimously elected Motuba Tamanjong as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors (BoD).

SOBACCUL, a leading microfinance institution headquartered in Yaounde Cameroon, provides a range of financial products and services to support its members. The organization is poised to capitalize on Tamanjong's extensive experience and expertise in community development, which will significantly benefit SOBACCUL's operations and strategic objectives.

"I am comforted by the fact that there is a strong team to work with. We are on a journey to achieve great success for SOBACCUL, and with the support of the members, the credit union's goals are going to be met," said Tamanjong.

In addition to his recently election as BoD President of SOBACCUL, Tamanjong also serves as the Coordinator of the Presidential Plan for Reconstruction and Development (PPRD) for the crisis-affected North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.

In his role at PPRD, he oversees development initiatives focused on the reconstruction and revitalization of regions impacted by conflict.

Although SOBACCUL and PPRD function autonomously and do not have a direct institutional relationship, Tamajong's concurrent leadership positions within both entities underscore his commitment to promoting financial stability and comprehensive development across various domains in Cameroon.
