Mbengwi: Bridge Construction Linking Quarters in Mbengwi Eminent As Kendely Group CEO Lays Foundation Stone

 

Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony

The Chief Executive Officer of  Kendely Group of Companies, Chief Dr. Ndang Kenneth, along with his wife, Mafor Dr. Ndang Delphine of the Kendely Foundation, have laid the foundation stone for a bridge that will connect several quarters in the Mbengwi Subdivision of the North West Region of Cameroon.

The Njimocho Bridge project aims to link Njimocho Quarter to other areas such as Zem, Wumngang, and Njembeng, all within the Mbengwi Subdivision. This project, valued at 28 million FCFA, is a donation from Chief Dr. Ndang Kenneth and his wife, Mafor Dr. Mrs. Ndang Delphine, through the Kendely Foundation.


At The Foundation Laying Ceremony 

Speaking on behalf of the Mbengwi community, the President General of the Mbengwi Cultural and Development Association (MECUDA) expressed great joy and appreciation for the bridge project. 

A group of pastors from the Metta Presbytery, led by the Presbytery Secretary, attended the event and blessed the Kendely couple for their contributions to the community.

The eldest woman in Njimocho also performed traditional blessings for the Kendelys, invoking ancestral protection and favor.





In his remarks, Chief Dr. Ndang Kenneth commended the resilience of the Njimocho community, and reaffirmed his commitment to their well being. He stated that the construction of the bridge is a fulfillment of a promise made to the community and urged them to support development initiatives.

The CEO also announced plans to grade the road leading to the Njimocho Bridge and to construct an additional bridge, emphasizing his commitment to giving back to the community.


The Project Site Of The Bridge Construction 

The Senior Divisional Officer for Momo Division, Fouda Niciaise, expressed gratitude for the efforts of Chief Dr. Ndang Kenneth and his wife, Mafor Dr. Mrs. Ndang Delphine, through the Kendely Foundation. He called on other elite from Metta to follow their example and contribute to the sub division's development.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by traditional rulers from the Metta clan, who offered royal blessings to the donors for their humanitarian outreach, which supports the poor, orphans, and underprivileged members of the community.
