The Hon. Member of Parliament for Bafut-Tubah Constituency Hon. Agho Oliver Bamenju, has extended a hand of fellowship  to his constituents by paying the hospital bills of all nursing mothers and new born babies at the Bambili hospital. This gesture was part of his courtesy visit to Tubah to evaluate the progress of road construction works undertaken by the Tubah council.

During his visit to the hospital, Hon. Bamenju commended the nursing mothers on the occasion of International Women's Day, assuring them of his continued support. He stated,

"So long as God blesses me, I shall always come to the assistance of my population in my constituency."

Prior to his hospital visit, Hon. Bamenju condoled with motorbike riders in Bambili who lost a colleague in a fatal accident on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. He offered them 90 liters of fuel and cash to support their livelihoods, cautioning them to be law-abiding and responsible in their work.

The motorbike riders pledged to collaborate with local authorities to address insecurity and kidnapping in the municipality. Hon. Bamenju also met with female workers of the road construction company, providing them with a financial package to celebrate International Women's Day.

Hon. Agho Oliver Bamenju's consistent efforts to support his constituents have earned him recognition, including a traditional stool awarded by the Bafut Manjong Youths in Yaounde.
