The Victim Lying Dead After He Was Electrocuted  By Raymond Dingana A  young man, identified only as Kenneth, was electrocuted to death by a high tension cable while working at a construction site in the New Road neighborhood, Tuesday October 15, 2024. Kenneth went out, Tuesday October 15 insearch of daily bread only to be snatched away by the cold hand of death. Sources indicate that the story building Kenneth was in was positioned too close to high tension cables. His lifeless body was retrieved from the scene by the Army Rescue Unit. This peace building initiative, championed by President Paul Biya, has caused many combatants to reject violence in favor of peace. Bamenda: Gendarmes Capture Suspected Kidnapper Following Exchange Fire

Photo Of  Part Of Bamenda Used For Illustration  By Raymond Dingana On  Wednesday February 14th, 2024, Gendarmerie Officials  in Mile 4 Nkwen, Bamenda III Sub Division, North West Region of Cameroon captured at least one suspected kidnapper at Mbessi, a quarter in Mile 4, Bamenda III Sub Division, North West Region of Cameroon. He was among a group of armed men who who abducted a lady around the Mile 5 neighborhood in Nkwen and were taking her to Nforya Bafut when they were intercepted by security officers. Unfortunately for them, security officers got wind of the situation, and swung in to action. Picture Of Bamenda Used For Illustration  By Raymond Dingana Heavy gunshots that animated the town of Bamenda recently caused a pregnant woman to lose her twin babies in what family sources say were premature births. It was on the night of last Saturday breaking Sunday, that this woman went in to labor pain after a stressful day at the Meta Quarter neighborhood in Bamenda, crisis battered North West Region of Cameroon. Unfortunately for her, she could not be taken to the hospital because of deafening gunshots. With the help of neighbors, the first child was delivered at home but could not make it, while the second child stayed in the womb and was only removed after the lady finally made it to the hospital hours later. According to Makatinews, the woman was fortunate as medics were able to rescue her from the waiting hands of death after they had removed the second baby, already dead. How UNICEF Is Battling Cholera In South West Region Of Cameroon

    By Raymond Dingana   If there is a region in Cameroon that has suffered greatly in the hands of the Cholera epidemic, then that region is the South West Region (SWR) of Cameroon. The situation has also been compounded by the ongoing socio political crisis ravaging lives in the North West and South West Regions of the country. Given that poor sanitation, unsafe drinking water amongst others are some of the leading causes of cholera in the region,  the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund, UNICEF has stepped in to help arrest the situation by providing safe drinking water, clean modern toilet facilities, and has also disinfected schools and hospitals in order to put cholera under check. PM Dion Ngute Facing The Press In Buea By Raymond Dingana At a time when the Anglophone Crisis continues to destroy lives and properties in the North West [NW] and South West [SW] Regions of Cameroon, how to end the impasse has been top on the agenda of persons of good will.
