Northwest: Travellers Abducted, Cars Set Ablaze In Ndop

By Raymond Dingana It was a day described by many as  catastrophic and scary for travellers along the Bamenda-Ndop road as they came face to face with frightful looking young men heavily armed. A day that will remain indelible in the minds of those who set out for Ndop and beyond and met eye-to-eye with gun carrying men suspected to be Ambazonia fighters. These armed men operating on that part of the region interupted their journey in a brutal way, says Anastasia who was journeying to Ndop. I started witnessing the pain the victims of the voilent arson attacks are going through when i arrived Hospital Round About. I saw red eyes looking people with long faces all supporting their jaws with their hands.                     House And Cars Burnt They sat in front of the seven shops that were burnt by men in military uniforms at Hospital Roundabout. Many other businesses around the area did not open their doors, some say it was in solidarity while others say they did not open their businesses because of fear. By Raymond Dingana A man whose name we got as Ndifor has been killed by armed men around Church Center, a neighborhood in Bamenda II Sub Division of the embarttered North West Region of Cameroon.  Ndifor who was the owner of a Provision store at Mile 90 Nsongwa around a military check point was killed on Friday at about 7:30pm. His lifeless body with bullet wounds and a shattered head was discovered near his wheelchair. Ndifor Lying In The Pool Of His Own Blood After He Was Shot. "He was picked up on his way back from his shop at mile 90. By Raymond Dingana A police officer by name Garga Ali has been shot by armed men as he fought to prevent an act of robbery from taking place at Way Out Nkwen Park, Bamenda III Sub division, North West Region of Cameroon. This was when gun men stormed the area targeting a provision store where they brandished their weapons and demanded that, the shop owner should empty his coffers in to their bags. According to eye witness account, a man said to be  second grade inspector of Police whose only names we got as Garga is said to have grabbed the gun man to safe the situation. By Raymond Dingana Separatist fighters in Bali Nyonga, one of the focal points in the ongoing war in the restive North West and South West Regions of Cameroon have placed on a ban on the activities of the Presbyterian Church in Bali. They said, the ban will only be lifted after the resignation of PCC Moderator Rt. Rev. Fonki Samuel and the and Rev. Simon Voma. Voma was shot along with other Christians, including a woman by name Ma Grace Numvi, who died from the bullet wounds. Victim Of Mforya Military Raid Expresses Desire To Further Education

By Raymond Dingana Ambe Lum who was shot around the abdomen when the Cameroon Military raided what it described as one of the main camps of kidnappers in Mforya Bafut is finally up and kicking after  several days of intense treatment at the hospital. She was speaking Wednesday September 01, 2021 after recovering from the bullet wounds she sustained during a raid that left five kidnappers dead as indicated by the military. After spending 13 days at the 5th Region Military Hospital in Nkwen Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon, Lum has finally regained her health and has left the hospital as she looks to kick on back with her life. Suspected Kidnappers Strike Nkwen Again

By Raymond Dingana A man has been kidnapped by gun men at the Ghana street neighborhood in Nkwen, Bamenda 3 Sub Division of the restless North West Region of Cameroon. Fobi Nchinda Vincent was abducted in the evening hours of Saturday August 21,2021. Sources say, heavily armed men took him in his car to an unknown destination. The recent case of kidnapping is coming days after Gen. Nka Valére of the Fifth Military Region in Bamenda said, the Cameroon military has killed five kidnappers at one of their main camps in Mforya Bafut, one of the epicenters of the ongoing Anglophone crisis. By Raymond Dingana During the funeral ceremony of the seven students killed when gun men attacked the Mother Francisca International Bilingual Academy in Kumba, Rev.Eka Martin from the Apostolic Church decried the killings saying those suffering are the poor while the rich despite knowing the answer to the crisis have refused to provide solutions. "Those suffering in this crisis are the poor people.They are the ones who are in the bushes,it is the poor who are hidding under the rocks in the forest. It is the poor who cannot sell their farm produce any more in the market.T he rich, they have all what it takes to go to Douala, Yaounde and Bafoussam and sponsor their children in schools but these children who are dead here today are children of poor people. In the early hours of Monday November 2,2020, three persons were shot to death when Boh Etoma,a neighbourhood in Bali Nyonga came under attack from those eye witnesses say,were men in military uniforms.
