NDZAH CHIEFTAINCY CRISIS: Talks End In Fiasco As King Makers Reject New Fon Presented To Administration

    At The Consultative Talks With Bamenda III DO By Raymond Dingana  King Makers of NDZAH village in Nkwen, Bamenda III council have rejected Mr. Fobolingong Akotohm Nsoh, whose name was presented to the administration as the new fon of NDZAH village, also known as Banja village in the Bamenda III council area of the North West Region of Cameroon. This decision was made during a consultative meeting to designate a new fon, chaired by the Divisional Officer (DO) of Bamenda III, Austin Ayuni Sakah, on Thursday, November 21, 2024. According to the kingmakers, and many attendees, the meeting ended in a fiasco because the administration attempted to impose a fon on them, which they rejected saying they already have a Fon, HRH Fon Marius Mbomchom Akotohm III. How Heavy Gunshots Caused Death Of Twin Babies In Bamenda

Picture Of Bamenda Used For Illustration  By Raymond Dingana Heavy gunshots that animated the town of Bamenda recently caused a pregnant woman to lose her twin babies in what family sources say were premature births. It was on the night of last Saturday breaking Sunday, that this woman went in to labor pain after a stressful day at the Meta Quarter neighborhood in Bamenda, crisis battered North West Region of Cameroon. Unfortunately for her, she could not be taken to the hospital because of deafening gunshots. With the help of neighbors, the first child was delivered at home but could not make it, while the second child stayed in the womb and was only removed after the lady finally made it to the hospital hours later. According to Makatinews, the woman was fortunate as medics were able to rescue her from the waiting hands of death after they had removed the second baby, already dead. During activities to launch this year's campaign against GBV baptized '16 Days Activism To End Violence Against Women And Girls,' Nkumu Fed Fed, with funds from the European Union EU trained and equipped 30 community communicators, Friday November 24. While all is being put in place to give Ni John Fru Ndi a fitting burial come July 29,2023, security concerns are being raised on a daily basis. The couple before their untimely death was operating a phone shop at Old Treasury Street, Commercial Avenue Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. The episodes happened in the night of Friday breaking Saturday July 14 and the evening hours of Sunday July 15 Awing Quarter at Nacho Junction in Bamenda II Sub Division. Five young boys were shot dead under unclear circumstances and close to 11 others shot dead at Nacho Junction on Sunday including a couple that wedded recently. The workers received their Labour Medals, Monday July 3rd, 2023. The Medal Award ceremony that took place at the Yaounde City Hall presided over by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Gregoire Owona.  Talking on behalf of the recipients, Alfkir Ndongmo, a Staff representative disclosed that they have been patiently waiting for such an initiative.
